GSM-GPRS Remote IO Module TCG140
TCG140 is a versatile GSM-GPRS remote IO module designed for distributed monitoring and control over mobile networks. It can function both as a standalone device or seamlessly integrate into data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
This GSM-GPRS remote IO module offers a range of inputs, including two digital 'dry contact' inputs, two analog inputs with a 0-10V range, and two analog inputs with either a 0-10V or 0-20mA range. The user has the flexibility to configure the mode of analog inputs through the graphical user interface (GUI).
The device features support for both 1-Wire and RS-485 (MODBUS RTU) interfaces. These interfaces can accommodate up to 8 sensors, with the allocation shared between the two interfaces in a user-defined manner.
All monitored parameters are recorded within the device's internal FLASH memory. These records are generated based on predefined time intervals and/or triggered by alarm conditions. The log file can be periodically uploaded to a dedicated server using HTTP Post.
Furthermore, the device is equipped with four relays, featuring both normally open and normally closed contacts. These relays can be activated either remotely (via SMS, call, or HTTP API command) or locally. For local activation, one of the monitored parameters is assigned to the relay, with the relay being activated upon the alarm state of the assigned parameter.
TCG140 is capable of initiating connections (HTTP Post) to remote dedicated servers. The content of this post includes an XML file containing the current values of monitored parameters. The HTTP Post can be sent periodically or in response to alarm conditions. In return for the HTTP Post, an HTTP API command can be received to trigger relay activation or modify certain settings.
In addition to HTTP Post alerts, the device can send SMS and/or email notifications to up to 5 recipients, offering an additional layer of alerting
