The TSL200 is a 1-Wire ambient light sensor that boasts an impressive dynamic range of up to 83,000 lux, ensuring precise measurements even in the presence of direct light sources. This sensor focuses on measuring the intensity of visible light while effectively rejecting infrared (IR) light. Consequently, its spectral response closely mirrors that of the human eye.

With the capability to measure light up to 83,000 lux and automatic full-scale settings, this sensor offers a remarkable 23-bit effective dynamic range. This exceptional precision is maintained across a wide spectrum of light intensities, from dark to extremely bright.

Thanks to its internal digital signal processing and factory calibration, the TSL200 delivers long-term stability and consistent measurements without the need for additional customer calibration.

Communication with the sensor occurs over the 1-Wire interface, and the inclusion of two RJ-11 connectors on the panel makes daisy-chain wiring a breeze.

Each sensor is endowed with a unique 64-bit serial number, enabling the creation of multi-sensor systems. Moreover, the TSL200 can be combined with sensors for other environmental parameters to create a comprehensive single-point multiparameter environmental monitoring solution.
