Carbon dioxide, often denoted as CO2, is a colorless gas vital to Earth's atmosphere. The TSM400-1-CP is a versatile sensor compatible with the 1-Wire protocol, designed to measure carbon dioxide concentration and atmospheric pressure. Both fundamental sensor components for CO2 and pressure are digital, ensuring precise measurements and long-term stability.

The atmospheric pressure sensing element comes factory calibrated, eliminating the need for lifetime recalibration. Self-calibration is available for carbon dioxide measurements, triggered when the sensor is exposed to fresh air containing around 400 ppm CO2.

The TSH400-1-CP is housed within a slim plastic enclosure with a suitable bottom part for mounting on standard flush-mounted or cavity wall boxes (ø68mm, with installation openings at 61mm).

Elevated carbon dioxide levels can lead to reduced productivity, increased blood pressure, headaches, and even life-threatening conditions in high concentrations. Therefore, monitoring and controlling carbon dioxide levels are crucial for offices, workplaces, schools, and public buildings.
