AALBORG DPC series supports displaying of differential pressure mass flow controller features batch processing mode, collector flow rate with ±(0.5% RD + 0.2% FS) standard accuracy, 200:1 measurement and control ratio and less than 150 ms sampling time.
The operation of DPC mass flow controllers is based on measuring differential pressure across specially designed restrictive flow elements (RFE). The restrictive flow element is designed to create laminar flow over the entire operating range of the device, from 0% to 133% of the full scale range. A high-accuracy and high-resolution differential pressure sensor is used to measure the pressure drop across a laminar flow channel that is linearly proportional to the volumetric flow rate. Based on data from sensors and gas properties in the device's internal gas database, the microcontroller calculates volumetric and mass flow; these, along with pressure and temperature parameters, are available on the device display and via the RS digital interfaces.
