TCW122B-RR Remote Relay Control Module

Teracom Remote Relay Control Module Supplier TCW122B-RR

CW122B-RR is a module designed for remote relay control, featuring two digital inputs and two relay outputs, each with both normally open and normally closed contacts.

To establish remote relay control, a pair of devices is required, with one operating in 'client' mode and the other in 'server' mode.

In this client-server model, the 'client' device periodically transmits the status of its digital inputs to the 'server.' In response, the 'server' conveys its digital input status.

This client-server approach offers various configurations:

  1. Both devices are connected to the Internet with public IP addresses.
  2. Both devices are linked within the same LAN, utilizing private IP addresses.
  3. The 'client' is connected to a LAN with a private IP address, while the 'server' is connected to the Internet with a public IP address.
  4. The 'client' is connected to one LAN, and the 'server' is connected to a different LAN, but the 'server' is behind a router with a public IP address and port forwarding.

Key Features:

  • Secure web-based configuration with password protection.
  • 2 digital inputs that can function in either 'dry contact' or 'logic level' mode.
  • 2 relay outputs equipped with both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts.
  • Terminal connectors that are removable and separated for inputs and outputs.
  • Utilizes encrypted communication for added security.
  • Allows for manual or DHCP network configuration.
  • Supports Device ID filtering for enhanced control.
  • Permits remote firmware updates to ensure ongoing functionality.
