IP watchdog monitoring module TCW122B-WD
TCW122B-WD is an IP watchdog monitoring module, purpose-built for ensuring the reliability of a fail-safe monitoring system.
This module manages the operation of devices or networks through the transmission and reception of ICMP echo requests and replies, respectively. It activates the relevant relay if there is no ICMP echo (ping) response within a specified time frame. This action can serve to reset the monitored device or network switch.
TCW122B-WD is equipped with two digital and two analog inputs. Its two relays feature both normally open and normally closed contacts.
For each monitored parameter, including temperature, humidity, analog voltage, and the status of digital inputs, SNMP traps can be dispatched based on predefined conditions.
The relays can be remotely activated through web-based (WEB) or SNMP control, or automatically triggered by the presence or absence of a ping response.
Key Features:
- Secure web-based configuration and control with password protection.
- Supports 1-Wire interface for connection with up to 2 sensors.
- Features 2 relay outputs with both normally open and normally closed contacts.
- Includes 2 analog inputs with a range of 0 to 60VDC.
- Offers 2 digital inputs that can operate in either 'dry contact' or 'logic level' mode.
- Provides reliable IP watchdog monitoring for added security.
- Supports SNMP version 1 (SNMP v.1) for efficient network management.
- Sends SNMP trap messages under specific conditions.
- Includes VLAN and MAC address filtering for network control.
- Allows for remote firmware updates to ensure continued functionality.
Use Cases:
- Supervising small and medium-sized networks with watchdog monitoring.
- Keeping an eye on temperature and humidity levels in server rooms.
