CO2, Humidity, and Temperature Multi-Sensor TSM400-4-CPTH

Industrial Automation Systems - Multi Sensor TSM400-4-CPT

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless and odorless gas, constituting the fourth most abundant gas in the Earth's atmosphere. Monitoring its concentration, especially in indoor environments, is crucial for maintaining the well-being and productivity of occupants.

TSM400-4-CPTH is a versatile multi-sensor equipped with MODBUS RTU protocol support via the RS-485 interface. This sensor excels at measuring CO2 concentration, humidity, temperature, and barometric pressure.

For CO2 measurements, this MODBUS device employs an advanced non-dispersive infrared sensing element (NDIR), a prevalent method for accurately gauging CO2 levels. NDIR relies on the absorption of specific wavelengths of infrared (IR) light by CO2 molecules. The CO2 sensing element is temperature-compensated for heightened accuracy.

The sensor offers self-calibration capabilities for CO2 measurements, initiated when placed in fresh air with approximately 400 ppm CO2 concentration. Moreover, the basic sensing elements for humidity, temperature, and barometric pressure come factory-calibrated, eliminating the need for lifetime recalibration.

The TSM400-4-CPTH multi-sensor is housed in a slim plastic enclosure, suitable for installation on standard flush-mounted or cavity wall boxes with a maximum installation opening of 61 mm.
